Your Mistress of Ceremonies

My name is Elle Morgan-Thomas, I’m a cisgender woman and my pronouns are she/her. I’m a Commonwealth-registered civil marriage celebrant based in Inner West Sydney (Wangal and Gadigal Country) and the Blue Mountains. (Dharug and Gundungurra Country). I’m neurodivergent and proud of it, and I live with an invisible disability, so inclusion is at my very core.

I’m clearly NOT one of those cardigan-clad traditionalists… A lover of love who is allergic to bullshit, I’m a thoroughly modern marriage celebrant who loves to use my writing and speaking skills to craft and deliver kick-ass wedding ceremonies that will make your gran cry (in the nicest possible way) and your besties crack up. I’ve been public speaking since I could walk (for better or for worse), and that’s probably around the time I first took the piss, too.

My goal is to make your day via my highly-personalised civil ceremony that reflects you AND entertains your guests - you won’t just be enduring your wedding ceremony and waiting for that first champers, you’ll actually ENJOY it!

When not celebrant-ing, I’m an economist and strategist, a dog mum to Henry and Mimi the rescue pooches, a volunteer, community activist, a diversity and inclusion champion, and an avid bushwalker who probably eats too much chocolate.

I believe in transparent pricing - you’re doing your research and you need as much info as possible, I get it! Nothing worse than having to send an email to find out whether a marriage celebrant is in your budget.

I’ve developed my wedding ceremony packages to reflect the needs of the wide variety of people I work with - diverse is my jam. I believe I’ve created something that will suit everyone, but in the event I haven’t, I’m open to working with you on what you need.
