Babalou Weddings
Babalou Weddings & Events is a modern beachfront wedding venue located on the upper level of the iconic Kingscliff Beach Hotel on the beautiful Tweed Coast of Northern NSW. This stunning reception venue features polished hardwood floors, exposed wooden rafters, a contemporary white-walled coastal aesthetic and floor-to-ceiling windows framing panoramic ocean views, making it an ideal space for chic beachside weddings just 47km south of the Gold Coast.
WEDDING CEREMONIES
● Beach Ceremonies: Babalou offers outdoor ceremony packages at Rowan Robinson Park directly opposite the venue, with council permit, a white wedding arbour, aisle runner, signing table and guest seating included.
● Indoor ceremonies: With 279m² of floor space providing plenty of room for a beautifully styled indoor ceremony with ocean views, Babalou offers a picturesque wet-weather backup for outdoor wedding ceremonies.
WEDDING RECEPTIONS
● Perfect size for seated receptions with 70 - 130 guests & hosts cocktail receptions for up to 200 (including space for a dance floor)
● Exclusive-use space with a long private bar, festoon lightning, coastal chic furniture, an opulent ladies’ powder room and external balcony. White walls and polished timber floors provide a contemporary blank canvas on which to add your own styling touches, with exposed timber rafters offering easy installation of hanging decorations and florals.
● Comes with timber banquet tables, white rattan chairs, peacock chairs, relaxed lounge furnishings and festoon lighting.

Babalou offers all-inclusive wedding packages for intimate midweek celebrations with 20 guests, seated receptions with up to 130 guests and cocktail weddings for up to 200 people. All packages include a dedicated wedding coordinator and professional events team.
● Minimum spends: $5,000–$13,500 depending on the wedding date, day of the week and season.
● Food & beverage packages: Starting prices range from $126 - $141 per person for cocktail catering, two-course seated dining and shared feasting menus with a 4 hour drink package. Add around $25 per head for canapés and additional hour of drinks.
● Small beach weddings: A complete midweek wedding package for 20 guests is available for $9,500, including a beach ceremony, celebrant, photography, venue hire, dining and drinks.
