For the first time, Muse At Sweetwater offers exclusive access to its grand European estate for a private wedding experience unlike any other in the Hunter Valley. From September 2026, and delivered exclusively by the team from two-hatted Muse Restaurant, Muse at Sweetwater opens to host destination weddings shaped by leading food and hospitality at one of the Hunter Valley’s most remarkable private properties.
At the heart of the estate stands a European castle built with weathered stone, wrought iron and authentic pieces reclaimed from historic châteaux. Your day unfolds in the surrounding gardens with views across award-winning vineyards.
Exchange vows in the intimate Chapel, beneath the iconic Sweetwater sign in its Forecourt, or in front of the historic Castle Gates. Move from your ceremony to a seated reception in the Chapel, the open-air Amphitheatre, or beneath a marquee with water and vineyard views. Each space designed to create an unforgettable dining experience.

The Chapel & Forecourt (max 55 guests) - Framed by the Chapel's grand iron doors, established gardens and rose bushes, The Forecourt is a natural arrival point, gathering space for canapés, and an iconic ceremony location. The Chapel is the most enclosed of the estate's spaces, and the one that feels most steeped in history with towering pillars and French medieval iron chandeliers setting the scene for grand celebratory feasts.
The Marquee Platform (max 160 guests) - Stairs lead from the Chapel down to a purpose-built platform overlooking the estate, designed to host a marquee event with uninterrupted views of the vineyards and water. An adaptable space, allowing for a fully styled, undercover event.
The Amphitheatre (max 160 guests) - An open-air setting positioned by the water and framed by olive trees and vineyard views. Tiered grass platforms laced with stone bring a natural sense of theatre and scale. A beautiful blank canvas, ready to be designed for your wedding ceremony or outdoor reception.
